Everyone called Bear a puppy but this golden doodle knew he was something much better than that--a bear. He likes to challenge things like that noisy rolling pin. But why does he get blamed for making a noise when it makes all the noise, growling back at him every time he nudges it with his nose? Life has many mysteries, like why do birds keep going up after they jump but he just falls back down? He decides he must go to university to find out. br />

This speculative fiction begins in a quantum mechanical universe beyond space-time where God, in the form of three whimsical spirits, decides to produce out of their infinite source of energy a parallel physical universe inhabitable by creatures that resemble themselves in many ways. These creatures consist of matter, something not allowed in their abode, Paradise. But God has a problem, typified by Joe Prendergast, a womanizing, hard-drinking, skydiver caught speeding while under the influence of alcohol at 8:30 in the morning.
In a quantum mechanical universe beyond space-time, God, in the form of three whimsical spirits, produces a parallel physical universe.
