We all come to a place where in moving forward we must realize there is far more to the Christian life than getting it right or knowing things about it. The pursuit of the mystery of perfection is in living it out as we move forward into and through it for His glory and purpose.
Scripture informs us that there are in reality two realms; one is that which is seen, and that which is unseen or remains a mystery. The first is apparent and is the world we know through our minds and five senses. If it were not for divine revelation, we would probably be locked into this level without any way of breaking into the second realm or realizing the importance of pursuing this mystery beyond our senses and the limits of our understanding which is the ultimate reality. Jesus said, "where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. Matthew 6:21. So then, it seems that where your heart is, you will also find your focus.
The first step to achieving goals "on purpose" is to define success and focus. You can go as far as creating a personal mission statement or just find a picture that presents your dreams clearly enough that it helps you to consciously follow. Even the shortest of short-term goals don't happen by accident. You have to purposefully decide what to do, where it fits in your day, and how to get it done. Without direction and a map, you can get off course and end up in places you never wanted to go.
