The Shepherds of Earth again continues the Gnorman Trilogy saga with more historical individuals being rescued and enlisted in helping with the Earth's potentially troubled future. Using insight, forsight, and a bit of sci-fi magic, the Gnor-humans are able to tame these threats in ways that will surprise as well as stimulate readers to look at solutions to today's issues in many different ways.
In this second novel of the Gnorman Trilogy, heroine Gnor-humman Ellen James continues to build a better future for the human race after most of her Gnorman alien friends have returned to their home planet. Fearful of the apparent projected future secondary to current societal ills (a projection reiterated time and time again by a mysterious time-traveling Gnorman), Ellen seeks to reroute Earth's trajectory in the ultimate act of shepherding.

Alien race that comes to Earth in search of creating compatible beings that will enable them to preserve their dying race; but leads to the creations secretly helping mankind with all its serious problems.
This novel is the first in a trilogy (The Gnorman Trilogy) that takes real persons from Earth history and weaves them into a science fiction story of aliens that create a race of beings from these people that end up protecting and helping mankind solve its many difficult problems.
This causes the novel and the following two to be made up of snippets of real historical personalities intertwined within a fictional story.
