PROLOGUE
This is a story about my first wife, Barbara, and her fight with breast cancer. We received the news in December 1992 that the tumor in Barbara’s right breast was cancerous. It was classified as inflammatory breast cancer. This type of cancer is only one of the many forms of breast cancer, but the most dangerous. At the time we were both forty-four years old.
