As a former freelance co-ordinator for several Fresh Start Writers Groups in North Lincolnshire, UK, I was delighted to discover the wealth of creative talent that many people over the age of 50 posessed./b>
But there is another section of older people who are keen to express themselves but are unable to pit it down on paper. Tuesday attendees at Epworth's Burnham Road Day Centre were one such group of people./b>

Iillustrated Short Stories and Poems for Children and Young People by the Fresh Start Writers whose ages range from 51-83.
In the Autumn of 2006 a small group of people gathered in, Brigg, United Kingdom. They had responded to a Fresh Start idea that an over 50s' creative writing group could be formed. The age range of members spanned from 51-83 and it was agreed that their initial focus would be on writing short stories and poems for children. There were no great expectations or grandiose aims but it soon became obvious that all members of the group, some expereienced writers and some not, possessed a wealth of talent.
