The plot is an explosion of astonishing events, from the frantic search for the terrific Red Sky project through China and Russia to the hi-tech marvels of the Wizard, from the great passions to the final struggle.

She felt uneasy. It was the waiting. She didn’t like being kept waiting very long, even if she was about be received by the President in person.
She tried to settle into a more comfortable position on the nineteenth century couch and stretched her legs on the plush carpet.
She concentrated on the lacunar ceiling, then glanced absentmindedly at some colonial style furniture.
The objects took on an air of solemnity in the dimness of the room, due to a peculiar play of light.

The protagonist is Helen. Beautiful. Dominating. Free. Uninhibited. Her brief, daring and, in some ways, fascinating existence is rich in events which take her from the orphanage to becoming "Lady S", the splendid dominatrix of the House of the Governess, through the most diverse and peculiar life experiences: college student, lap dancer, top model and finally "Lady S", the talented profiteer of weakness and human perversions.
The three narrative levels - the narrator, Helen and the detective - and the enigmatic finale make the story somewhat singular.
I spent several years in the bar dancing almost every days, for hours.

How does the world appear in which a young man lives hard outside the conventions?
The protagonist opens a window upon this universe through the story of a particular day of his life, rich in intriguing situations in wich appear action, sex, gambling and hunour.
I go in through the main door, the entrance is full of ornamental plants – the place is luxurious, our clients are for the most well-to-do ones that love appearances, there’s even a red runner on the floor that climbs up a marble staircase, the floor is wax polished, shiny as a mirror - , I call the lift, I wait for several moments, then I press the button for the third floor.
