When Charlie has to go live with his grandma & grandpa, he finds out that they have FOUR DOGS! He's not happy, so he sets out on an adventure into the woods where he meets many different anmials, that he thinks that he might be related to. It isn't until he meets T.R. Weasel,(the wise guru of the forest) that Charlie finally realizes who he is.
You'll meet Billy bear, who tries to convince Charlie that he's probably a bear. Then there's lovely Lilly Ladybug, who is thrilled that Charlie knows, and lives with Elvis. (little does she know that Elvis is a dog) This story is a true adventure for all animal lovers. It gives the reader a little insight into the animal characters life and habits. It helps us accept each other for who we are. But most important, it teaches us to not try to be somebody that we're not.
