Wanting to know what salvation is all about, Joe Ortiz, a former news reporter and TV-radio talk show host, went directly to the source (the Bible) and interviewed God to get clear answers concerning the subject of salvation. Based on his research, he began writing this book and self-published under the banner of GBM BOOKS (a division of God's Broadcaster Ministries, a non-proft organization) in 1983.
Joe Ortiz accepted Jesus Christ as his saviour in 1975. After living a clean and productive life for a year after being saved, he slipped and went back to some of the dirty habits he had shed when he accepted Christ. He was confused. He thought that once you get saved you stopped all the bad habits and devoted your life to the Lord. Fervently seeking to better understand God and His purpose for him and humanity, he decided to interview God directly by asking specific questions concerning the subject of salvation.
