Gnat Feathers and Butterfly Wings
 Paperback

This is a collection of poetry and a short story from my unique perspective about a range of the usual topics: love, naming, identity, gender violence, motherhood, racism, politics, teaching, solitude, dance, family, loss, and making choices.

Perhaps it is temerity to test my lyrical dexterity with this book of poetry about things that mean the world to me Spirituality Sexuality Aesthetic identity Women who lived audaciously Love, loss, and family Black history Black unity Pop culture's effrontery. I lend my voice to the cacophony because life is rife with tragedy yet brims with possibility. Carla M. Cherry is a mother and a teacher. Her work has appeared in anderbo.com, an online literary journal, and she performed her poem "Black Pearl" on jazz musician Eric McPherson's release Continuum (Small's Records). This is her first book.

Honeysuckle Me
 Paperback

This is a collection of love poems. In these challenging times, we must celebrate who, what, and how we love with fervor. The poems in this chapbook strive to be sustenance and salve for the soul. Carla M. Cherry has been published in Anderbo, For Harriet, Obscura, Dissident Voice, Random Sample Review, Eunoia Review, Bop Dead City, MemoryHouse Magazine, Down in The Dirt, In Between Hangovers, Street Light Press, Picaroon Poetry, and Firefly Magazine. She has published two other books of poetry with Wasteland Press, Gnat Feathers and Butterfly Wings (2008) and Thirty Dollars and a Bowl of Soup (2017).

These Pearls Are Real
 Paperback

A poetry collection. Carla M. Cherry's fourth poetry collection is about love and liberation. This medley of poems exalts the joys of childhood, self-acceptance, and falling in love, and grapples with gun violence, cultural appropriation, police brutality, and the neglect of the mentally ill. Her epic poem, "A Daughter Speaks," is an homage to the courage of Congresswoman Maxine Waters, Therese Patricia Okoumou, and the ordinary people across various identities who give us hope for a brighter future. These Pearls Are Real is like a bouquet of potpourri. May you find rejuvenation within its cover.

Thirty Dollars and a Bowl of Soup
 Paperback

This book of poetry tackles a range of topics. The eighty-six poems in this collection are celebrations and lamentations about womanhood, motherhood, teaching, identity, oppression, justice, loss and love, and they attempt to grapple with challenges that run the gamut from Flint to fibroids with wit, humor, sensitivity, grace, and productive defiance.

43 Haiku and 4 poems of a Wayward Sailor by Mike Walling

Haiku of a Wayward Sailor” encompasses both haiku and poems. Many of the haiku are based on my experiences at sea.

Omega Factor by John Henning

Take some time to walk outside of your own mind and into another, walk slowly and carefully; the mind that you step on might be your own.
