I have rewritten my Vietnam story "A Hard Place/A Sergeants Tale" and published it effective today as "Second Edition"(Kindle) on Amazon KTP. After numerous comments about the editing,spelling and punctuation in the last version. The new version has some added material and is somewhat longer it has been edited and has a better format. I did not change the base story at all. I hope that the new version is an even better telling of Shadow Soldiers in Vietnam! Jacamo

Dr. Johannes Petermann professor of archaeology at ASU Tempe is leading a group of Grad Students on a field trip to the jungles of Cambodia. In search of an ancient temple complex that has been rumored to glow at night with a strange green light. Reports of this glow go back to the Vietnam War era as reported by pilots. What should be a normal trip to a dig site turns into a very real nightmare when upon arrival they manage to disturb some ancient, evil beasts who live in the temple. A harrowing and deadly confrontation occurs and the group is forced to fight for their lives against things that are not supposed to exist. It may well be that no one will escape alive.

By mid morning, the snow had turned to large wet flakes. The
temperature had actually raised some. Before noon the snow was two
inches deep and the forest was so quiet it made your ears hurt.
Grayhawk then halted under a giant umbrella oak, with a canopy so thick
the ground underneath was bare of snow.
