I was born in 1962, the 2nd of 4 daughters to a sawmill man and a mama who started her own tobacco crop. We had no indoor plumbing to speak of, only cold water running into the sink of the kitchen. Bath time meant mama heating water and pouring it into that old galvanized tub sitting by the woodstove. To do our other business we had to use the old "johney house" in the back yard or just run on down into the woods and find a private spot.........
