Biden being unfairly criticized for the Afghan pullout and his handling of the pandemic. The previous occupant spent his time watching Hannity on TV.
Biden's approval rating has plummeted to 44%, probably because of Afghanistan and the Delta virus. I don't see why they think he's responsible for that when the unvaccinated are the ones getting it, and Trump and his base used the virus as a wedge issue. We have nurses protesting against being forced to get the vaccine if they want to work. They ought to be famiiar with how germs spread in hospitals.
I was also struck by the number of right wing books on the New York Times best seller list under non-fiction. Number one is MARXISM by Mark Levin. This is just more conservative blather about how socialism is taking over the country. Progressivism and social democracy have as much to do with Marxism as conservatism has to do with intelligence. The happiest countries in the world (Norway, Denmark, and Finland) are social democracies, mainly because of free health care and free education. Don't worry they pay for them with their taxes. Tucker Carlson has published the best of Tucker collection. There is no best of Tucker. His buddy Hannity admits he's not a journalist. If he were telling the truth, he'd admit that he's not a commentator either. He works for a Republican propaganda network owned by Rupert Murdock ultra conservative whose citizenship was fast-tracked by Ronald Reagan.
After Heinrich Abbott's latest move in Texas, pitting neighbor against neighbor for money with his farcical abortion law, we will once again see George Orwell's 1984 coming to fruition. First we had Trump's fake news in which evil was good and the truth was fiction and worse yet, the National Enquirer was a great newspaper because it suppressed a story about Trump's affair with a Playboy bunny.
People really ought to recognize a wedge issue when they see one. What was Benghazi if they had to have nine investigations in order to find out there was no evidence Hillary had anything to do with bending the truth? And Hillary's missing e-mails were only her personal correspondence. Why does Trump get to hide behind executive privilege at every turn and Hillary is supposed to turn over her grocery lists?
