There are authors who are paying for everything because they get paid to travel like a travel agent. It's legal. It's moral. And it's an amazing thing for an organization (nonprofit or for proit) to make a serious income by donating the standard fixed rate of 40% of the commissions to their organization, this is the kind of money a group could make in one year:

Fundraising is a pain in the potato sack, but there is a much simpler alternative to Exec. Directors and volunteers

TRUE EXAMPLE ON FUNDRAISING:

Here's what it looks like:

Take a national group, say, a health organization or a large national church group. Let's say, put the membership: 16,000 people.

NOTE: There are no mandates or requirements, just flat out travel and use your groups engine which only cost, one time only: $395. Nothing hidden. Nothing to administrate. . . just share the word, and travel. Below is the kind of money this puppy can make y'all, with only 5 percent (5%) participation...

16,000 members

Multiply by 5% = 800 participants

Let's multiply those 800 member x $1,700 (the figure of average annual travel in America done by an American Express study). . .  what do you get. . . .

Anyone?. . . . Anyone?

Now, take the figure you came up with (which should have been $1,360,000.00) and allot 5% of that average travel commissions. Wha' d'ya get now? . . . .I can wait. . . .

wait. . .  okay wait. . . okay wait. . . oh phoo I tired of waitin' a'right?
The digits should say a measly $68,000 (when you think big, 68 grand ain't that much, really it's not for a worthy cause for one year). . . .however. . .

Take off 40 percent of that. . . $27,200 in donations for the year, for the group. (Don't fall off the chair when I mention the referring travel agent gets 10% forever and ever, Amen to that, with no cut off.)

So y'all go on and do that word of mouth thing and you'll see little green bills coming into your organizations or corporations/business entity's coffers. Not to mention a lil' sump'n sump'n to plump your pockets.

Hard to believe: Well all I gotta say is this "This ain't made up, it's just money some group ain't made yet, and so far, the checks to me from YTB are far from bouncin').

Breaking everything down for an agency: That's a lot of chicken fish cookies cakes popcorn and candy that don't need to be sold. . . . .

We'll be glad to talk about this a bit Sunday May 7 with anyone who's interested after the travel party. . . while eating a sandwich at B & W!

love y'all,

cynth'ya

(For the Formula I used, it's found at www.ytbassociations.com Please share it with someone who cares about people-the government has yet to show a lot of us where they put their money--which isn't into our communities.)

Whoopsie, forgot one. . . . Your name here! Because your dreams matter.

(Oh, Check Yahoo Finance for a current stock report. Over the weekend, stock went up from 1.30 to 1.52.  Update that figure from May 2006 to over 30,000 websites as we speak, and growing, not to mention a brand new website like no other travel engine on the internet.

P.S. Not every RTA (Referring Travel Agent) of YTB Travel and Cruises is allowed to do this. They MUST be certified. Kenny and I are certified Corporate Association Specialists. We receive 10 % of the overrides 24/7 for life on association accounts, and the organization or business entity works directly with the corporate office, no additional charges ever, for life. We can teach a family reunion group that becomes a non-for-profit how to set up to do the exact same thing.

All RTAs, certified or not, receive 60% of the commissions on all travel related info on their websites. Cost of website: 399.95 one time. Overhead includes online accessible training, online forms, automatic booking engine and tracking, and much more for 49.95/month. Overhead reimbursed each month with 6 sponsored RTAs. Never a quota. Never a time limit. NEVER a charge-back.
