As I watched the show “Breakthrough with Tony Robbins” tonight I realized my own breakthrough.

 

A calm confidence has been gifted to me with God’s grace. I started a contract job a couple months ago. I was told it is extremely, overwhelmingly busy and stressful.

 

The job began slowly with only a few hours with the person who was leaving, on her last day. I am learning as I go, and by baptism of fire, so to speak.

 

As the pressure has been increasing, when I begin to feel overwhelmed or stressed, I stop and ask God to fill me with His calm, and confidence within myself. The accomplishments come, and I find myself able to say I am unable to do it at the moment, or even that it may be a couple days before I can get to it.  I tell the person “I want to help you, but I am overbooked at the moment” or something like that.

 

I am skilled and capable, although it took me years to believe it of myself. Now I do, and that is a huge break through for me.

 

As I was watching the show tonight I did some light exercise in the open space of my living room.  It became a more open space after selling my large queen size sleeper couch on Sunday. I had that couch for a long time. There were many times it was a comfort to me. However, it was time to let it go and it feels wonderful, even a new sense of freedom.

 

I am getting closer to another breakthrough…better focus, discipline, and passion to write as God has been prompting me to do. 

 

Ah! What a lovely feeling of accomplishment when we realize a breakthrough in the barriers which used to exist in our lives.
