Last week it seemed that no matter how I tried to dismiss the words Abba, Father spoke to me, He persistently said, take back your home! This reminded me of nine years ago when I worked outside of the home and while I transitioned to being full time in the home found it very difficult and found myself sleeping a lot. One mid-morning while sleeping, there stood a man by the door watching me, then suddenly another man appeared with a clipboard in his hand and he began to write. He then threatened the man standing by the door: He said, if you interfere with even a strand of hair on this woman’s head, I will annihilate you! I awakened absolutely disturbed because the dream seemed so real, I said to Abba, Father: I am never ever going to fall asleep during the day anymore. This occurred years ago and I could no longer dismiss these words, take back your home! Looking at the many household chores still undone, procrastination slapped me in the face, whap! Abba, Father startled my thoughts with His word from the book of Judges Chapter 4 which focused on a woman named Jael. She was the wife Heber, a Kenite and the woman who killed Sisera, the leader of King Jabin’s Canaanite army. He was a terror to the nation of Israel and threatened to conquer them. While the battle raged, Sisera fled and sought refuge at Heber’s house with the knowledge that Heber had an alliance with king Jabin. Let’s read of how Heber’s wife, Jael reacted to Sisera’s request from the book of Judges Chapter 4 verse (18) And Jael went out to meet Sisera, and, and said unto him. Turn in my lord, turn into me, fear not. And when he had turned in unto her into the tent, she covered him with a mantle. Verse (19) and he said unto her, Give me, I pray thee, a little water to drink; for I am thirsty. And she opened a bottle of milk, and gave him drink, and covered him. Verse (20) Again he said unto her, stand in the door of the tent, and it shall be when any man doth come and enquire of thee and say, Is there any man here? That thou shalt say, no. Little did Sisera know that Jael was a woman of prayer and God had empowered her with a militant Anointing; let’s read what Jael did to Sisera who was the most feared man and a dangerous enemy to the people of Israel. Verse (21) Then Jael Heber’s wife took a nail of the tent, and took a hammer in her hand and went softly unto him, and smote the nail into his temples, and fastened it to the ground: for he was fast asleep and weary. So he died.
Listen, spiritual attacks and assaults are being unleashed on homes to destroy the sanctity of marriages, disrupt family life, kill, steal and destroy our young men and women. There are so much turmoil and in-house fighting. Crime and violence are threatening to overtake our cities and communities. I challenge you (me too), take back your home! Read verse (32) and behold, as Barak pursued Sisera, Jael came out to meet him, and said unto him, come, and I will shew thee the man whom thou seekest. And Sisera lay dead, and the nail was in his temples. Men and women of Yahweh, take back your home! Symbolically speaking, it is time to awaken from your slumber, (me too) arise in the militant Anointing of Jael and nail peg every intruding spirit, all trespassing spirits that have the audacity to invade your home. The time has come to serve an eviction notice on every demon hiding out in your home. Close up the breeches, dismantle those peeping, muttering spirits and destroy every surveillance set up in your home from the dark world. Be on alert for the human spirits that frequent your home via astral projection and launch their evil attacks while you are sleeping. They say, does God see? Does God hear? Awake! Awake! Wake up men and women of God. Household wickedness and household witchcraft have invaded our homes. Wake up when Abba, Father prompts you and use the Hammer and the two-edged sword of God, which is the Word of God to destroy the works of the devil sent against your home but make sure you are in right standing with God and fully clothed in His armour, lest He smite thee!
When Abba, Father Spoke these words to me, take back your home! At first glance, I took inventory of how I had become negligent, lazy and complacent and had allowed procrastination to become almost a stronghold in my home but what I did not realize was that God was also revealing the spiritual condition of the home for the things of the natural are an indicator of what is actually going on in the spiritual realm. Envisioning myself sleeping and seeing a man by the door, then another man appeared with a clipboard in his hand and as I heard him threaten the other man who stood by the door. I knew intense warfare was in session and as I awakened, I promised myself never to go to sleep during the day. Truth has now emerged and it is time to take not only take your home back but also your neighborhood, community and city. In doing this you (me too) will be able to expose and expel Satan and his cohorts from your home. Yahweh, the God who redeemed you will empower you with the Resurrection power of Jesus Christ to do to the powers of hell what God did to Jabin, the king of Canaan before the entire nation of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas and indeed the world. Verse (23) so God subdued on that day Jabin, the king of Canaan before the children of Israel. Verse (24) and the land of the children of Israel prospered and prevailed against Jabin the king of Canaan until they had destroyed Jabin King of Canaan. Selah. Take back your home!
