Times and Seasons continually change in the life of a Believer as the plan of God unfolds.
Unfolding
Many times, we as Believers fail to understand the changing times and season that we encounter as we walk the path of life. Earlier this year I heard the Holy Spirit speak four different words beginning with the letter I. He actually spoke through me as I was teaching a Sunday School class and He had only given me the first word and the other words just came flowing as I began to speak.
The first word was Invitation and Introduction, Intimacy and Increase followed. I was focused on the word Invitation at the beginning of the year, not realizing that more was to be revealed. After some time in prayer, it was revealed that these words were words for each quarter of this year of 2023. I must admit that this has never happened to me. Currently, I am in the third quarter, which is a time of intimacy. It began after entering the second half of the year, what I called The Crossover.
Several times I have heard the scripture, John 16:12.“I have many more things to say to you, but you cannot bear to hear them now.” AMP. One of the things that I focused on from that scripture was my current position of understanding. It meant that I could not handle, accept or absorb what the Lord wanted to reveal to me because it was too much for me to handle. So, I began to pray that the Lord would prepare me for what was coming and His plan for me.
Even though I may understand that God has a plan for my life according to His word in Jeremiah 29:11.“I know what I’m doing. I have it all planned out—plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for.” MSG. The part about Him knowing what He is doing, settled it for me! I may not understand every detail of the plan that He has written in the volume of the book of Becky, but I know that it is all a part of His grand design. “You saw me before I was born.Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed.” Psalm 139:16 NLT.
Many times, we say that the Lord is doing a ‘new’ thing based upon the scriptures in the book of Isaiah. It is a new part in His plan, where the ‘new’ thing is springing forth and it is sometimes beyond our comprehension, but it is ‘unfolding’. The ‘unfolding’ of His plan is occurring and revealing much that has been made ready and kept ready for the appointed time of arrival.
Even the desires of the heart will change as He imparts His heart desires into yours. Can you even imagine that He has been waiting all this time for the arrival of this time as He sits in eternity? So, my answer is,“Then I said, ‘Behold, I have come To do Your will, O God—To fulfillwhat is written of Me in the scroll of the book.” Hebrews 10:7 AMP. His plan is continually ‘unfolding’ and I must set myself to be in agreement with all that He has written about me, as He leads me. There is an excitement that builds for these adventures. All I can say is “What’s Next Papa?”

But when the Spirit of truth comes, he will lead you into all truth. He will not speak his own words. He will speak only what he hears and will tell you what will happen in the future.14 The Spirit of truth will bring glory to me by telling you what he receives from me.
