Dale lives with her husband, Arne, on a hill in Huntington, Long Island, NY with their pound-save black labrador, MacDougal. She spends her days writing romance and enjoying nature, and believes life should be packed with love and laughter.

She and Arne spent several years sailing their Sabre 28' on the Sound, have raced the Round Long Island Race, the Vineyard and lots of overnighters and day races, all in the spinnaker deivision. There's nothing like sailing in front of the wind with a full chute flying before you!

The first book Dale wrote, FIRST MATE, was considered (and is still available!) for a made-for-tv movie. It's an exciting romanctic adventure of a determined woman and a sailor from the rugged coast of Maine who race another sailboat down the East Coast, against weather and mishap, finding love along the way.
