My name is Dawn Wilson and I am originally from Connecticut, but now live in Milan Italy with my two daughters, where I teach English as a foreign language.
Accomplishments: I have always enjoyed writing, and am now able to devote more time to it. Last summer I received an Honorable Mention in the Joyous Publishing Summer Writing Contest, for my short story An Unconditional Love. This story has been published online, and is also available in print, along with several other short stories written by various other authors. Recently, I tied for second place with my short story The Candy Filled Box, in the Cynical Magazine Not So Cynical Holiday Writing Contest. I have had two short stories published by The Farside of Midnight; Submersion in the premier issue, and Face to Face in the April 2008 issue. Red Handed and Independance have both been published in the premier issue of Still Crazy, and Beauty Queen has been published in the April issue of Cafe del Sol.
