Always a story teller, I began writing short stories when my children were small. My writing began with the encouragement of English teachers at MacArthur High School, San Antonio, Texas. I've published over 35 op-ed articles in the regional newspaper, The Amarillo Globe News.My biggest supporters are my husband, a full-time writer and freelance editor, our six children, and my critique group.
