All About The Author
Here is my story...
I am the youngest daughter of eight children. Born in Maryland, where I attended high school and some college. As a child I was always singing and dancing for people so I hear. They use to make circles around us and give us money to dance. At the age of 24 I moved to Los Angeles, CA.
I got a chance to see various parts of the world touring with a very famous group called "The Platters". A wonderful group from the Fifties & Sixties. I came recommended by someone who believed that I was indeed the best one for the job. After interviewing 3 times I got a call back. After auditioning over 100 beautiful women, I was victorious. One of the most exciting moments of my entire life.
We toured Europe. Singing in Extravagant Hotels all over, Italy and Greece, in the cities Sicilia, Catania, Terressini, Palermo, Messina in Italy.
The Beautiful Athens, Greece at the Sixties "Let The Good Times Roll tour 1993". Performed at the Carmen's Convention Center in Hamilton, Ontario CANADA. Toured the US all over the various cities.
My background is mostly music,at the age of 12 I was a lead singer in my choir at Greater Olivette Baptist Church in Baltimore, Maryland.
Though, I love to perform and sing for an audience. I enjoy the art of creative writing. Through the years my writings were my best friend. Now, I've found my niche and that is Poetry. I have written over 116 poems and Published my book at www.trafford.com currently working on my second book.
