PERSONAL BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
Sandie May Joyce, a.k.a. Sandie Angel, was born in China, moved with her parents to Hong Kong where she was raised and received her education. She later immigrated to Canada to further her education. She is now living in Toronto, Canada with her husband and her children.
During this past several years Sandie has published five children’s books and two romantic poetry books. She is also founder and editor of “Angel’s News, Quarterly Newsletter” between the years 2002 and 2004.
Sandie writes with both names, but prefers to only illustrates under her artistic name, Sandie Angel, for her published books.

MAJOR INFLUENCE:
Sandie's main influence was from her mom and dad, who had inspired her to write and paint. However, both her parents are now deceased. Her other influences in writing are from her sister, who is a successful author of scientific books; her Japanese uncle who is a well-known author of books about real estates investments.
Sandie is also greatly inspired by her own children and family.
Sandie May Joyce, a.k.a. Sandie Angel, is also a member of Toastmasters’ Club International, and
Storytellers of Canada/Conteurs du Canada.
