After a year of college and a year of business school, I joined the Air Force for 4 years. Since then, I've been a medical transcriptionist, an office manager for an insurance agent and a medical secretary and have always continued to indulge in daydreams and writing them down.

I am a member of SCBWI and the North Carolina Writer's Network. I completed the Institute of Children's Literature writing course.
