Raised in the heart of the south, I grew up in
4-H,raising and showing hogs and dairy goats. I wrote many short stories when I was younger. I wrote my first poem,"Not The Same", after my great aunt, who I was very close died in October of 2001.She was also a writer. I started writing short stories about a year later

Background

I was abused mentally and verbally through my childhood, and alot of my writing stems from that.God gave me this gift for words and inspires a major part of what the pen in my hand puts on paper, but I was very close to my great aunt, on my Mom's side of the family, and I write to honor her memory as well. I am an avid reader, of just about anything I can get my hands on, some of my favorite writers include Dee Henderson, Terri Blackstock, James Patterson, Particia Cornwell and J.K. Rowlings. I have 2 books on the market through Publish America. The first is title "Like A Shadow" and the second one is "Ashes To Embers". Four more are currently in the works. I hope to submit 2 more by the end of the year.
