A serious mountain bike injury in my 30’s which left me weak, in a lot of pain, and with limited mobility in my hips and shoulders. This was the main motivation for me to start my journey into strength training.
At an age where most people stop being physically active and accept their daily aches and limitations, I started to regain control of my body and improve beyond my expectations. Best of all, mood and energy levels went up as well.
In 2008 I decided to it was time to study the subject of all things strength related more in depth, so I took a one year physical trainer diploma with DIF, the National Olympic Committee and Sports Confederation of Denmark, with focus on traditional strength training, powerlifting and weightlifting.
Between 2009 and 2013, I competed in Kettlebell Sport as a veteran, even winning a World Championship title. I also have Danish records in Snatch, Jerk, and Clean & Jerk.
Today I am the president of the Danish Kettlebell Sport Organization, and Vice president for IKMF.
Over the years, I was lucky to learn about training with kettlebells from the great instructors and World champions Vasily Ginko, Valery Fedorenko, Denis Vasiliev, and Oleh Ilika.
In 2013, I traveled to Russia for a week to train under Anton Anasenko. Along the way I took diverse certifications, such as Bulgarian bags, TRX and Crossfit…
I have used that knowledge to empower and help many people achieve their goals, win medals or just win over themselves.
