Extensive research and passion led to the creation of the legal suspense novel, "Accidental Felon." First came anger at the wrongful convictions and the prosecutors who fight against allowing DNA evidence; and after a wrongly convicted person is declared innocent by a court, these prosecutors refuse to release the innocent person. Anger led to depression. Reminding myself that depression is anger turned inward, usually caused by the feeling you cannot change things, I decided to turn this anger into something I hope will lead to change--a novel that will awaken and alarm the public to the dangers to all of us, unless we demand change.
