I grew up in the Appalachian mountains. As an adult I went to work in the underground coal mines at the age of 18. Later in life I became involved with the managing of all types of mining operations. While doing this type of work I gained first hand knowledge about the battle property owners fought through to protect their property from being raped and destroyed by mining operations.  Witnessing a family being destroyed when I was a young boy combined with the mining experiences as an adult was the inspiration for me to put these experiences into written words. As a result "Murder Seen through the Eyes of a Child" became the instrument to tell this story.
