Anthony Charles Jenkins was born in Columbus, Georgia, but has spent the majority of his life in southeastern Alabama. His hobbies include reading, writing, learning about ancient history and cultures, and daydreaming of spending a year of overseas traveling. Some of his favorite authors include: Stephen King, two-time Edgar Award winner Jay Bennett, Christopher Pike, and the late great Robert Cormier. His poems have been included in some of the International Library of Poetry’s annual poetry compilations since 1996. Most notably, the ILP’s The International Who’s Who in Poetry 2004, as well as the recent 2005 edition entitled, Eternal Portraits.
