Background Information

I was born in Italy and emigrated to the U.S. 1971. I've been living in New York City since. I did not know English at the time, a source of great frustration for me because I could not communicate with other people but that soon changed after I enrolled in a course of English as a second language, to be followed later by several regular courses of English at a local community college. The professors there were wonderful and my love for writing grew even more. It made an enormous difference in my life. I was able to find a job other than a factory worker's and that led to a better pay and the opportunity for me to travel, something I could have never done without a better education. My traveling experiences led to even more sources for my writing. The main reason I love to write is to share with others my experiences, my dreams.
