This is a picture of me receiving a Purple Heart medal while I was on the hospital ship, The USS Sanctuary. I was wounded while fighting on the Laotian border. I served in the U.S. Army.

I used to write a lot while I was in high school. Serving in a war zone and then working as a Power Lineman didn’t require a lot of writing skills. However, after I raised my family my interest in writing was kindled again. I got involved in the Pro-Life movement and I found that public forums offered a way to defend those who cannot speak for themselves.
