Since early childhood I have been a voracious reader. I wrote my first poem at age 8, and never stopped writing since. Whether it is fiction, poetry, magazine articles, or political speeches, writing has always come as natural as breathing. I believe when we write from the heart and experience the writing is more believable. My middle-grade novels often express my childhood experiences.
