Most of my published works are an even split between legal-technical(linear),social justice and community organizing training publications and creative writing,such as poetry,sermons,and short stories.I also report stories and offer commentaries as an avid blogger and citizen journalist through the Pacifica Radio audioport as a broadcast affiliate. I was a contributing writer to "Katrina:Listening With Our Hearts"(2006),a book detailing by articles, blogs and other observations,including photographs,sermons,interviews,etc.,the devastation of Hurricane Katrina.Our group of 40 scholars and students went to fact-find,provide support and counseling to the storm's victims along the Gulf Coast and particularly in the heavily hit, Ninth Ward of New Orleans. The book was our group's journalistic reporting  effort to tell stories of what we had witnessed and to thoroughly document our experiences on the trip.Most of my creative writing has been published on the web and was predominantly sparked by the music of my favorite musician(s). The primary source of inspiration for my writing is God,the ultimate author and guide of my life.I received a Master of Divinity (M.Div) in May 2006 from Union Theological Seminary and a Juris Doctor (J.D.)from Antioch School of Law,now the David A.Clarke School of Law at the University of the District of Columbia.My undergraduate degree is in Psychology.In my capacity as an internet radio host and broadcast personality,I am deeply influenced and moved by music--all genres.But particularly pop, blues,gospel,jazz and rock. Musicians such as John Mayer,Jimi Hendrix,Buddy Guy,Marvin Gaye,Sam Cooke,Stevie Wonder,Alicia Keys,B.B. King,Eric Clapton,Bonnie Raitt,Richard Smallwood,Yolanda Adams,etc., have inspired a good number of my blogs and articles.My writing has been heavily influenced by life events as well. Friends tell me that I have led a very interesting life.Quite frankly, it has been pretty much a roller coaster ride of ups and downs, filled with exciting accomplishments as well as profound challenges.But,I wouldn't take anything for the journey.
