One day a year in this country we stop to give thanks, I took that day to think about it, now I give thanks

I waited until after thanks giving to pen the things I am thankful for, so here it goes.
1, I am thankful for being here the day after Thanks Giving.
2, I am thankful for being able to write this the day after.
3,I am thankful for the people I love, even those who don't love me the way I desire to be loved back.
4, I am thankful for the understanding that the only life I can control is my own.
5, I am thankful for the choices I have made in my life good and bad, and the lessons I learned from the bad ones.
6,I am thankful the knowledge of awareness.
7, I am thankful for memories, for each has made me the women I am today.
8, I am thankful for the peace I am seeking in my heart, for it is the journey that counts.
9, I am thankful for the warmth of a home, I can call my own
10, I am thankful for even for the extra pounds on me, because it means I have seen few hungry days.
11, I am thankful for the hair on my head, because there was a time I worried it thin.
12, I am thankful for the next breath I will take, because it will give me time to post this
It is not the large things in life that we fail to be thankful for most times it is the things of daily living that seem to slip by our being thankful.
Take a moment too think of the things that you do each day, the ones you take for granted you might find you have more things in your life you can be thankful for.
