What we say matters, how much more God's Promises?

John 14 :3
" And as I go now to prepare a place for you,
I shall come again and take you to me,
that where I am. you also may be."

THE PROMISE

" Mama , why don't you just say yes now? You can always tell me if you changed your mind later." To answer this , I remember telling my son that I am never comfortable in saying things I do not mean. So it came to pass that never again did he doubt my "Yes" and my "No", Yes is yes and no is no. If it is not sure, then I say "Maybe".

I think this is more so with our God.God does not mince words, He says what He means and He means What He says.

I believe when I read Jesus assuring us that He had to go first to prepare a place for each one of us. I believe Him when He said that He will come back for us, so that wherever He is, we also will be.

How about you? Can you take God's Promise as is ? If not as yet, don't despair, God's Promise is unchanging .He is for keeps. All we need to do now is to ask Him to give us the grace to BELIEVE.
