This is an offering for Pentecost.

The Gentle Voice

Go forth my little one
reach out to those who need.
Like the flowing waters that could seep
even into the deepest crevice
I, Your God, would eventually
touch each one of those who seek.

Alas, do not falter nor waver.
In your resolve to do good
there will always be tribulations.
Yet it is when you are at your lowest
that the harvest of souls is at its fullest.

To those who persisted
I, Your God, would reveal My Presence.
Know that discord is not My Way.
Know that My Way is Divine Peace.

I may sound like speaking in riddles...
some would turn away in disappointment
others in disbelief.
In disappointment
that God cannot be manipulated
In disbelief
that God indeed is alive
and communes in one’s spirit.

Neither look to your left nor to your right,
rather, fix your eyes
in the pursuit of Your God.
Seek for MY Presence
in the kindness that came your way.
Find ME in the faces
of those who loved you unconditionally.

You may ask in exasperation:
“Where have you been all these times, God?”

I tell you now:
I have always been there ---
with you ...
for you ...
and in you ...

BUT you have pushed ME away
by your despair ...
your indignation ...
your bitterness .


Come ! Dearly Beloved.
Rest your burdened heart
in THE HEART of Your God.
I will lift up your spirit
I will ease all your pain.

It is time to start anew.
It is time to love again.
Trust in Your God
In due time
All will fall into its proper place.

Long before you have even thought about it,
I, Your God, have already forgiven you.
Offer a contrite heart
and a humble spirit.
Everything
will work out for the best.
