Recognizing a Light Worker

From the very beginning one can tell that these children come from somewhere else.  They are extremely aware of their surroundings.  It seems like they are already familiar with certain things, like sounds and people.  In the very early stages of their lives upon the planet, they can sometimes be hypersensitive to these things—often crying when certain high-energy people walk into the room or when someone picks them up who has just experienced great emotional stress moments before.  In their eyes there is a timeless wisdom.  It sometimes seems as if they are watching your every move or that they know what it is you are thinking and what you should be doing at every moment.  People often say of these babies, “This child has been here before.”  This is how you can recognize a light worker from infancy.  Children born with this light know what they are here for. 

How to recognize a light worker is when they have a light in their eyes.  They are truly inundated with light and it comes through the skin and eyes and mouth of these children.  They are always aware of the world around them and ever curious about that world.  They may not behave in a manner that most people with children would deem acceptable or “tempered.”  However they will always know their limitations, even if they would like to “test” those limitations to deem themselves smarter.  I would venture to guess that these children wear their parents down by the sheer volume of energy that they dispose not only through their constant physical activity but also with their curiosity and habits of mind.  They are here to make a difference and they do so even as young babies.  They are hard to miss.  Many young babies are born with physical challenges or born very small.  These children are here to show us the art of overcoming obstacles in the face of lack of hope.  They are here to show us that we can become whatever we put our minds to becoming even if the odds are against us.  Do not discount a child who is physically deformed in some way from being a star in life.  Also, some light workers come in for merely a short time—such as two or three months—merely to put the spark of hope back into the family or group or community that they came here with.  This light lending is truly a gift of the heart because it is extremely difficult to come into this world for the young baby (and the experience of stress and pain is quite real to them).  It is difficult to come here with physical restraints but not mental restraints and when you have an additional burden of trying to lend light to adults who seem to be in a constant state of depression every time they are in your presence, it is even more difficult to get your job of light lending done.  There is lot of love involved with these young people.

The Light Network lends light through love and through the power of our personalities.  These young children have quite distinctive personalities. The sheer power of their imagination and their ability to see things that adults cannot is one way in which they lend their light.  They also learn in quite a different way than most people are used to.  Most of the time, young people are seen as exploring and making mistakes and learning from those mistakes.  However, a light worker who is learning, many times does not have the time to go on and on with basic skills.  They will spontaneously understand how to do things that most children their age should not know how to do.  For example, there was one story of a young mother who was amazed that her three-week-old baby was holding a cup to drink her water.  This is not uncommon for young light workers.  They want to get rid of the basics so that they can get on with the process of learning all that they need to know to get on with their mission.  Parents and caretakers of these children need to understand only one thing—it is all about the mission.  When you find yourself being confused about something your child is up to or not understanding how to get a young person to listen to you, remember that it is all about the mission.  When you put this thought into your mind, you will undoubtedly begin to see the usefulness of the present interaction or struggle you may be going through with the child.  Think that everything that you and he are going through together, will ultimately lead to the development of that child’s contribution to the new society, which is due to be born within the next 50 to 75 years.  From this date, that is between the years 2055 and 2080.
