This poem always makes me feel sad.A lot of parents today must remember that children need quality time with them...no matter how busy they are.

Did you note the joy in their faces
When they saw you passing by?

Did you note the sheer happiness?
When they saw you smiling with delight.

Did you hear them calling you?
Did you acknowledge them at all?

Do you realize they wait for you?
From morning until night.

Do you even take the time…. to check on them at all?
Do you know you have another life…. outside of your work?

Do you realize time is fleeting?
This moment will never come again.

Do you know each moment you spend with them
….is precious in itself?

Do you know that life is a cycle?
That it revolves round and round.

That time is love and if you share it.

It will be returned.

One day.
