Man in the Mirror is too good to let it languish in Self-Publishing limbo.

With much convincing by friends and much persistence on my husband's part, I finally decided to take my latest novel to a literary agent.  It's a big step of faith for me, but the good reviews I got from professional reviewers, including Midwest Book Reviews, this year has bolstered my self-confidence.  The time has come to put my work out there for public scrutiny.

Just let me say, it's not easy figuring out exactly what an agent wants in their submissions package.  Twenty years ago I submitted my novel, Son of the Star, and a synopsis in those days meant a chapter by chapter summary of the entire book.  Now, I've discovered that nobody wants to see that anymore.  In trolling the Internet, I found some published authors suggesting a synopsis is the type of thing you find on the inner sleeves of a book cover, but not so says this agent.

In the end, I opted for a business-like bio, brief character sketches, a movie synopsis-like overview, and a more detailed description of the plot.  From everything I could read on the agent's website, this seemed to most closely fit his requirements.  Now only time will tell.

It's nail biting time!!!  Ugh!

Scammed by MORGAN ST. JAMES

Revenge is Fun series. Millions of dollars are missing from the Venice Canals HOA and so are the Vice President and Treasurer. Were they kidnapped? Where is the money? Twists galore and a surprise ending with humor along the way.
