Went into a sporting goods store in Arkadelphia, Arkansas.
Got to fiddling around with the turkey callers.
This one was a box and a stick.
You know me, I had to do the trick. It worked just fine, and sounded just like a turkey.
The storekeeper came over and said, "Don't Do that!!"
"Why not?" I asked.
"Because in five minutes this store will be filled with gobblers."
This brought back memories of when I was seven years old, just a little girl in kindergarten (started school two years late): we'd gone to a turkey farm, and all these gobblers were surrounding me. I got so scared, I wet my pants! I DID! LOL Enjoyed this one; thanks for the smiles!
