The ugliness and racial terrorism in Southern Indiana and Western Kentucky keeps growing, as emboldened white supremacists continue their 'marketing campaign' in the region. For months, Black farmers, city employees and neighborhoods in the region have been targeted by various KKK organizations, some of whom have travelled from as far away as Michigan to pepper neighborhoods with "Klanvertising" material

The infamous nooses have already played a role in meetings between city leaders and several civil rights activists in Kentucky, yet civil rights probems continue, some say increase, on a daily basis. In the last two months, several organizations have held informational pickets in Western Kentucky and in Frankfort, Kentucky, right on the grounds of Kentucky State University.

The picketers were run off of the right of way right in front of the KSU experimental farm, right outside of Frankfort, Kentucky. Many say the way agriculture loans are handled in Kentucky and elsewhere is living proof that institutional racism is alive and well, and they wanted to express their views during a conference of Black farmers and federal agriculture employees, but officials were having none of it.
