A reminder To God's people

The Lord woke me up today to enjoy another day of life, to learn and grow. To love his people, to teach , serve and respect those around me. I am a bus driver; slash over the road truck driver slash taxi driver. I have been a servant in the public’s eye three quarters of my life. I have enjoyed it all the good and the bad because each day and incident has been a learning experience. I love people and I love all of God’s creations and I respect them, for there has not been one thing that has happened or created that did not have a purpose under God’s plan. I have been laughed at because I have been called to kill a spider trapped in a friend’s house, only for them to see me capture it and let it outside the house. I have had all kinds of adventures with people and animals alike. I know that their spirit knows that I am a lover of God and I would not disrespect his work. It is such a simple thing to me I have had this thing about respect and honor since I was a kid, couldn’t tell you what it was or explain it but it was real to me. In these perilous times I have seen some changes that troubled my heart because I knew one that they meant us no good, and two that we allowed it to happen. I remember when I was twenty something I picked up a an elderly man it was just at the height off when people were looking to the government to solve their problems, He told me that you never wanted to invite people into your house that you can’t trust, He reminded me that we call them cheats and liars but we want them to help us with our family problems. It made sense to me then and I am seeing the repercussions from it now. We can be thrown in jail for disciplining our children, even when we know that if we don’t that the government has only one way of dealing with trouble makers. We watch our money thrown away on great boondoggles that don’t benefit the common people only those that have money already. Then we are told that money that has been set aside for us we can’t get it when we need it, but yet the latest act of stupidity is to take that same so called shortage of money and give it to people who are not even authorized to live here. This is the reason for this essay. I am lover of God, when I am on my job I hear the word church thrown around like it is a status symbol, I see no difference in these folks than in the man who doesn’t believe in God, loud, vile every word is a curse word, disrespectful to others on the bus, Talking about their sex lives on the phone loud enough for everyone to hear them, then the next word is how they are blessed. If they could make me ashamed they would but I know different. God called his people a peculiar people, that we would know him, and know his voice, that he called us before the earth’s foundation. We walk in his ways, those that know him know that his way is first of all one of love, then respect, and most of all honor. Then he will teach you how to walk with him and amidst his people. He has taught us the meaning of strength, how to pray and wait for his answers to those prayers, which is where our strength comes into play anyone can try to make something happen on their own then when it doesn’t work out to try the same solution again and keep failing. We know that if seek God’s guidance that things work out for our good. If we wait on him then we will walk in his will not our own. Now if we the believers don’t exercise our right to pray and our right to petition Him for the things that we see that are wrong. Than what else are we here for? Don’t you know that we are his front line of defense, I remember reading about the world war two when even the great world leaders prayed, and the common people prayed to God for guidance and care for their loved ones that were fighting and dying in it but slowly but surely we let the minority of non-Believers get the upper hand and watched as they tried to impose their evil will upon us. All that has been holy is now wrong and all that is a abomination to God is now acceptable, God has a purpose for mankind he spelled it out in the bible and now we see it attacked, but one thing is certain the truth is still the truth and it will come to the light. We allowed homosexual the rights to speak to our children now we have gay kids who can’t even spell homosexual, The Lord told man to go forth and multiply two men or two women can’t do that, then it goes back to my statement that what was evil is now good. We let go of our ideals to easily we will not fight for what we know to be right but decide to let the government decide for us, not me if I have to be different to claim my promise from God so be it. If I have to pray alone to get his attention about the wrongs so be it. But why should I be if you know God then you know that prayer changes things. Let us not be still while everything that we know to be Godly is being stripped way.
