Fort Myers writer, Dana Hoesch, author of the novel “No Hole Deep Enough” is cautiously optimistic. Her recent work has been submitted for Pulitzer Prize
consideration by her publisher,
Joan Mayor of Ithaca Press.

by Ms. Mayor that her book not
only fit the criteria for a Pulitzer
Prize, but was certainly worthy as well.

This fictional story, which chronicles the life of Mattie Moorehaven, addresses not only the difficult and heartrending issues of domestic abuse and child abuse, but it is
also very much a study in hope, survival, and finding one’s
inner strength. This novel, although driven initially by the theme of abuse, (which is largely and sadly identifiable for so very many women and children), carries the much larger, more positive message of finding the strength to overcome
seemingly insurmountable circumstances and odds without selling out one’s beliefs or morality.

Dana Hoesch takes the reader on a roller coaster ride of emotions throughout this story, vividly illustrating not only the emotions and psyches of the victims, but also those of survivors committed to reclaiming their lives. The story is a
beautifully balanced work of fiction, combining hope and despair, love and hate, anger and redemption.
