Is She real?

My first experience happened a few months after the Great Spirit showed up unannounced.

I just laid down for a nap, but was awake and just rested.

Out-of-the blue a vision of the Earth, outlined by the rays of the Sun appeared.

The Voice of the Great Spirit Spoke very matter-of-factly: "Sun Warrior, I want you to meet Someone."

The next thing I heard, as if the voice was in the room, was the most gorgeous feminine voice any man could imagine. It was not just the beauty in Her Voice, but that my whole body responded to it. I felt like I was in absolute luxury. She started simply by saying 'hello, Sun Warrior.'

In a way, I have always feared Her advice. She pulls no punches. The Great Spirit is always lyrical, taking you on a journey to answer your questions to solve your problems, and learning so much more than you ever could have thought possible along the way.

But with Mother Earth, well, She just says it like it is, and man, I have just reeled from it so many times. It was just the bald blank truth, and it hurt, and I had to work my way from anger and rage, right through to finally facing it.

I have often wondered why the difference? Not that She hasn't been incredible, wonderful, gracious, and awe-inspiring at other times. But when She wants to get through, it is like the silent Native wife, who does not speak in counsel. The men do. But the men know, if they don't act wisely, they will have to face the full guns of their wife when they get home. The Wisdom and the Power of the Feminine rule in Native society. That is why they are a wisdom culture.

Well, it seems they reflect the heavens a lot more than patriarchy ever has...

I have had a much harder time with Mother Earth than with Father. She will brook no quarter with a weak warrior heart. Such is the journey of a man out of intellectual civilization and into spiritual reality.

It has many lessons for the state of modern domesticated masculinity, still trying to adjust from the other side, the balls of feminism. Men were attacked using their own rational, intellectual tools by feminism, and they buckled. Imagine the civilized, and religion, facing the same thing from the other side, spiritual reality? Religion is still reeling from science attack on it. It has not had to face the full guns of actual, conscious Creation. The calm before the storm.

Oh how small we are in our minds of concepts, mathematics, energy and matter. We think there is some debate about reality.
