Reporter Sean Emery interviews author S.W. Capps about his new novel, Salmon Run, and his reunion with his long lost birth father.
SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO – Truth was stranger than fiction for author Shannon Capps, who, after years of wondering about his birth father, found that he was closer than Shannon thought.
After retiring from an award-winning broadcast news career in Oklahoma, Shannon moved to Aliso Viejo to open an audio/visual company, and to begin a writing career. Little did he know that his long-lost father, George Derby, lived down the road in San Juan.
