The Greatest influence in my life

On November 14, 2001 I lost a very important part of my life. This was a part of my life that can never be replaced or seen again. Except for the birth of my children nothing has impacted my life more. To this day I can still hear his advice on many subjects and see his face as he would state them. The memories I have of him will have to teach me as I go through life. Though I have my faith in Christ the knowledge of this loss will be with me always. This photo is of my father, Charles M. Day Jr., at 30 years of age. He was a vibrant person. As years advanced on him, age and injury broke him physically but his faith in God was strong to the end. At 73 His eyes were still clear and strong, and then he was gone. I remember my father with pride and speak of him as a guiding force in my life. For him I wrote these words.
