To be honest I was not happy with the election results. Even if McCain won I would not be happy but less sad. Obama said no to English as the National Language along with Clinton and the other Liberals, that is a big mistake. Obama also wants to give Amnesty to 20 million illegals, thats a huge mistake. We can only hope and pray that calmer minds will prevail.
Now the silver lining;
We will never have to listen to Al Sharpton, Jessie Jackson and Louis Farrakhan scream about a racist America. They are finished as far as I'm concerned and none too soon.
Black children in America can now look to the future and know that they too can be successful. Obama needs to come out like Bill Cosby and tell it like it is, he can't sit back and not use this opportunity to instill pride in the black race. He needs to go after the huge percentage of deadbeat dads in the black neighborhoods and he needs to push these kids to get an education and stop the victim mentality that has been going on for so many generations. I pray that I was wrong about Obama but time will tell. My friend Dave told me yesterday to give him a chance and I will but believe me I will be watching his policies very closely.
I'am an American and my country is the greatest in the world, we don't want or need socialism in America, it has never worked and only helped to destroy the country where it has been tried in the past. We are who we are because of Capitalism, we have succeded because we know that hard work has it's rewards. Lower taxes create job's higher tax creates unemployment. Again, I will give him a chance but I don't hold much hope for him to do the right thing.
