The real Frank Sinatra was a smooth and mellow black singer who recorded all of his wonderful songs in the 1940's. Carol Speeed's limited friendship with Frank Sinatra consist of Frank Sinatra sending her word by Mack Manager Travis Clark and telling him his thoughts about her like "Ask Carol Speed what is she waiting for?...for me to die before she comes to one of my shows? Or someone blasting Frank Sinatra singing "Three Coins In A Fountain" while Carol Speed was walking on Rodeo Drive coming from the Church Of Good Shepherd to her apartment in Beverly Hills. Or Frank Sinatra would say, "Tell Carol Speed I don't like her style."
Frank Sinatra telling Carol Speed that he didn't like her style really spun Carol Speed around and had her saying to herself , "What else? My life is already on a serious bumpy rollercoaster ride--one minute I'm with friends riding in limousines and the next minute the rotten American G-Men are thrown us out of the limousines and kicking us to the curb trying to slap bogus warrents from the United States Attorney in Phoenix, Arizona. Perhaps, the United States Attorney didn't like the fact that Carol Speed and her friends were hanging out at a Country Club in Scottsdale, Arizona. Or the FBI in Washington, D.C. was attempting to tie Carol Speed to a fraudulent case that they had against Washington, D.C. Mayor Marion Berry for being at a dinner party at the Washington Hilton. And for Carol Speed being in San Diego talking to Mayor Marion Berry before the Super Bowl started which starred the Washington, D.C. Redskins black quarterback Doug Williams--the F.B.I. was trying to rob the District Of Columbia by taking Mayor Marion Berry down and the United States normal assaults against Carol Speed to try and destroy her in an attempt to steal her identity.
Finally while Carol Speed was in San Jose, California, she telephoned retired Sheraton Hotel Executive Merle Howard to send her an airline ticket to see Frank Sinatra's Headline Show and sit with his guests at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas.
After a star studded show, Carol Speed and retired Sheraton Hotel Executive Merle Howard went backstage, and Frank Sinatra wasn't there. Someone mentioned that he wasn't feeling well. But that Frank Sinatra wanted to make sure that Carol Speed had photos with all of the stars on his show. So Tony Bennett, Norm Crosby, Joan Rivers and other entertainers were backstage for photos with Carol Speed.
Although, Carol Speed knew that it went beyond how Frank Sinatra was feeling as to why he didn't come backstage. And some years later she found out that Ole Blue Eyes was not Frank Sinatra. That the black Frank Sinatra died after recording lots of songs in the 1940's. It also became clear as to why President/Supreme Commander Dwight D. Eisenhower didn't invite Frank Sinatra to the Oval Office in the Capital House in Washington, D.C. was because there were so many fake Frank Sinatras that came after the original black Frank Sinatra that died in Hoboken, New Jersey in the 1940's.
