This book is destined to be a classic. Take my advice, fellow readers, and purchase this book...for yourself, for a gift. I have mine and I love it. You will fall in love with "The Climbing Boy" and your heart will be in your throat throughout. The writer will bring you there, with the characters, and you will become more than an observer...you will be part of the story. ~Elizabeth Russo
Guess this is one of those "Accepting Old Age With Humor" things, because, speaking only for myself, for me there are only two days in the year: The Fourth of July and Christmas, and all of the days, weeks and months between are a blur.
And as the Fourth of July has passed, Christmas is tomorrow, so how's about thinking of a very unique, very inexpensive Christmas gift.
The Climbing Boy takes place on one day: December 24, 1843, which, by no coincidence -- after all I wrote it -- is that exact Christmas Eve day that Ebenezer Scrooge had his three ghostly visitors. My little boy, my "Climbing Boy" even makes a quick stop at that "morose tavern" where old Ebenezer had his "fragment of underdone potatoe". So, as one can well imagine, The Climbing Boy does become a bit mystical towards the end.
For the cost of $12.95 plus $3.50 for shipping, you can give a gift of The Climbing Boy signed by the author, made out to whatever name or names you wish.
