Education-A Team Effort
"Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it."
The purpose of this article is that parents and teachers can work together for a better school system. We often think of our President as having a great responsibility, and he surely does, but we have just as great responsibility as he does. The training your child receives in the home , school, and church will have much to do in determining what kind of citizen that child will be.
Our wold today is in a mess. We need a leadership that stands for something. Too many people in the world today like to wash their hands and shift responsibility for making decisions off on someone else. We cannot please everyone, and some of use try by straddling the fense on certain issues. A firm stand for that which is right and an opposition to that which is wrong, should be an example of conduct for us all. The school cannot accomplish its purpose under lukewarm men and women.
As parents, teachers, and leaders, we certainly need to have some backbone, and have the courage to stand for something, lest we fall for anything.
