Human Choice

I’m at a place in my life where choices are becoming important in determining what direction my future will take. At times those choices appear to be overwhelming while at other times those choices seem so simple and routine. But to make a choice that will affect the remainder of my life seems to be one that is hard to grasp.

Throughout my life there have been moments of choice. Some were obvious and the pathway appeared open and straight. It is these choices that do not engage your soul because they are superficial and require an unconscious decision. Choices that are life altering are the ones where your soul becomes alive and it is within that aliveness that growth occurs. Such growth is the underlying energy we use to propel us into the future.

Once you activate the deepest part of your being you enlist all the power of wonder and you look beyond the path you are on to see the possibilities that choice gives. Impossibility, fear, and dismay fall aside and in their place you find encouragement, power, and potential. These are the properties that create a new direction and provide the assurance that your new path will lead you toward your goal.

Seize each opportunity to choose. Strengthen this portion of your being so that when choice is required the mechanisms are in place to create the most compelling argument for the acceptance of that which you never thought possible. Human choice is a wonderful aspect of who we are. Human choice allows us the latitude to create a world out of the visions we dream. Human choice gives us the greatest chance to begin each day with determination in order to seize our destiny.

Whatever direction we choose results in a rippling of who we are throughout the cosmos. We broadcast who we are simply by being still. Our choices become the amplifier of our dreams and make us visible to others in order to create our world. Make that choice and watch your world change. Make that choice and look with amazement at what you will create. Make that choice and become a light amid darkness in order to change the lives of all you touch.

I encourage you to look at choice without fear. Look at choice as the most human of ideas. Look at choice and become content with its beauty for within choice lies your future and within your future lies the truth of who you are.
