This is an article for people who are Chrisitians, but also for people of other faiths.

Some people mention how I smile all the time and seem to be happy.Of course I am not happy all the time, but I do have a sense of hope and believe that each person has possibilties and goodness. Each person has a purpose and a unique way to show God's love.

I know we are human and also have our "dark side".I know sometimes we follow our own ideas instead of listening to God and what we know is the right way to go.I know there is much pain and suffering. My hope does not come from closing my eyes to what is going on daily in our lives and the world.

Where my hope come from is the love God has placed in our hearts and the power of that love.My hope comes from all the times we listen to God and follow His purpose for us.I see this happening every day. When someone helps someone without wanting anything in return, when someone listens intently to somone has they explain their pain. There are more examples than I can possibly write.

I am asking anyone reading this article, please don't let pain or challenges stop you from being a person of hope and bringing that hope to others. Our world needs you!We need to counter act all the negative and painful situations in our world by showing we can be and are a people of compaasion and hope.I do not want to put my beliefs and values on anyone, but I think these values most if not all religions would honor!

I wish all of you a life filled with joy amid the pain that comes with life. I wish you love - to know you are my sister or brother. No matter what religion. We are united by two things- being people of compassion and hope.
